Kira Higa currently serves as the Human Resources Director for the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaiʻi and brings forth over 15 years of HR leadership experience. Prior to her current role, she served as the HR Director at Hawaiian Telcom, where she led company-wide HR initiatives, overseeing performance management, organizational design, and labor negotiations.
Kira received her B.A. in Behavioral Science: Psychology and Minor in Business Administration from Concordia University and is also a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools.
Kira is committed to using her extensive experience in human resources leadership to elevate the credit union with fresh, innovative ideas to enhance service and convenience for all members.
