Monica Toguchi Ryan has been a member of the credit union for more than 32 years. She has served on the Board since 2017 and currently serves as the Vice Chair and Chair of the Governance Committee.
Monica is the third-generation owner of Highway Inn, a Hawaiian food restaurant founded by her grandparents in 1947. She was recognized in 2023 as the US-SBA Women-Owned Business for Hawaii.
She received her BBA in Business Administration and her Masters in Education from the University of Hawaii and was a candidate for the University of Oregon Ph.D. program in Counseling Psychology.
Monica has a deep commitment to the credit union’s values and passion for our community. The credit union’s vision, “We build relationships to enrich lives” is a philosophy she stands firmly behind.
