Dr. Brennon Morioka and his family have been Hawaii State FCU members for over 30 years. He recently joined the board in 2024 and serves on the Human Resources and Compensation Committee as well as the Nomination Committee. Brennon is currently the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
He has served in various executive positions in Hawaii including Hawaiian Electric Company, the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, CH2M HILL, and Shioi Construction.
Brennon received engineering degrees from UC Berkeley and UH Manoa and is a graduate of Iolani School.
He serves on the Aloha Stadium Authority, Governor’s Advisory Committee on Transit-Oriented Development, and the Mayor’s Landfill Advisory Committee. In addition, he currently serves on the boards of the Friends of Iolani Palace, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Pacific International Center for High Technology Research, as well as the Blood Bank of Hawaii.
